University of South Australia researchers and the SA Country Fire Service (CFS) have joined forces to give residents a searing experience of a bushfire – all from the safety of a virtual reality headset.
Developed by UniSA PhD student Safa Molan and her supervisor Associate Professor Delene Weber, the immersive VR experience allows you to ‘live through’ a computer-generated scenario of a major bushfire in the Adelaide Hills.
